Team Work

We would call ourselves a small company with a big heart. At the centre is our incredible workforce. We are extremely fortunate to have such an immense mix of age and experience within our small team. They make the Team Work.

We are convinced that a successful motivated and happy team is absolutely critical to the success of our business.

There is the old adage “You are only as strong as your weakest link” This can run true, but we believe every machine needs cogs of all different sizes to run at it optimum levels.

Here at Odd Bods, all of our staff are fully trained and time served. We have recently taken on an apprentice. This has been another way of adding to the team. With the right guidance and application an apprentice can grow into key team member as they learn and develop into the role.

Sense of Humour

A great sense of humour is a key trait amongst our work force. The banter at times is off hand, sometimes near the mark but always said with respect to others. It makes the working day have a strong fun element included.

This communication creates a great bond, which can be crucial when the team face a challenging task, or when a team member is absent and productivity still needs to be maintained.

We have recently introduced an online Team page where the guys can communicate with each other privately or as a group. All staff have mobiles and access to the internet, making this a convenient way to ensure that news is given to everyone at the same time. Its an instant place to share feedback or changes.

Our team works well as they understand the strengths and weaknesses of each member. Meaning that training issues can be highlighted and training tailored to each individual, and most importantly means that work can be divided up so that task are completed by the most qualified team members. This ensures that high standards are achieved and customer expectations are exceeded.

Well done boys we are incredibly proud of you all – We wouldn’t be here without you.
